LE ROI 2 CYL ENGINE
Here are some photos of an old concrete mixer with a Le Roi 2 cylinder, flathead, magneto engine. This engine powers a hopper style concrete mixer that was used in the New York City metropolitan area many years ago. Sorry I couldn't get farther away for an overall photo but the equipment is in a leanto for protection and we just had 10" of snow.
The only numbers on the hopper are "MM208?" cast on the hopper near the discharge chute. The engine tag says it is a Model VP26. The engine block is cast with "1-171" under the letters "MFC" in a triangle with a date code of "4-30-48". The magneto is a WICO Model XH635.
